New York-based designer Michael Bastian's collection of menswear is known for its modern interpretation of familiar garments and adding a rebellious edge to an otherwise preppy aesthetic. Bastian got his start in fashion first as a buyer followed by positions at Tiffany's & Co., Polo Ralph Lauren, and Bergdorf Goodman. Since launching his line, he has received several CFDA nominations. For fall 2010, Bastian debuted his first collection in collaboration with American heritage clothing brand Gant.
