Naven began with the creative minds of twin designers Kymberely and Alexis McClay. Immersed in fashion from a young age, while living in North America and Europe, their fashion forward thinking and influences have been rendered in their designs. After graduation from Pepperdine University and FIDM in Los Angeles, Kymberley and Alexis gained valuable experiences while working in the industry. Naven was born while the twins put their fashion ideals into a tangible form and introduced their womens contemporary line in Los Angeles in Fall 2007. Though Naven finds its roots in Los Angeles, the line embodies a touch of European influence stemming from the Twins background. Naven plays on a contrast between classic and sophisticated silhouettes and a young, fun and flirty style. The line highlights the beauty of the female silhouette through flattering fits while portraying empowerment and energy through bold colors, fine fabrics and an edgy take on classic form.
